1. Culture
The village Benissa was one of the first and oldest villages of the Costa Blanca. There where findings from the prehistorie and Roman age, but in 1248 the first larger group inhabitants arrived.

2. Restaurants
For great wining and dining you'll find plenty in the area near the house. There are to many restaurants to write down, but closeby there are two special ones:
Because of it's location Baladrar beachbar is special. It has a great view from the terrace over sea and on the rock of Ifach:

Also La Paillotte is close to the house, and on the coast. It has a more formal character but still has a lovely tropical atmosphere. It has a very good menu in a some higher price range. Commonly you need to reserve here.

3. Sports
In the vicinity of Benissa are three golf courses.
Club de Golf Ifach is three kilometers from villa Pendulo. Beside the green there also are three tennis courts and a swimmingpool.

Moraira has a Miniature golf facility.
Two kilometres from the house is the Buena Vista tennis club with eight tennis courts. Not only members, but also guests are welcomed. There is a fitness facility, dance studio and Sauna. The club offers yoga, zumba, pilates and bootcamp lessons.

5. Amusement parks
In Benidorm on a forty kilometres distance lies Aqualandia, one of world's biggest waterparks. 150.000 square meters water fun. Aqualandia is opened from May until the end of September.

Also in Benidorm is Mundomar, a sea aquarium parc. Enjoy spectacular shows with dolphins and sea lions.

6. Sunbathing
The house has a big swimming pool with comfortable sun beds, but there are also blue flag beaches on a ten minutes' drive. In Calpe are the bigger beaches which are lively with pubs and restaurants. Benissa and Moraira have beaches which are more quiet and relaxing.Top
7. Nature
Between Moraira and Calpe is a long hiking trail beside the sea. The path runs by steep cliffs, beaches and picturesque harbours. Different than other parts of Spain the vicinity of Benissa is very green. There are several nature resorts. The Ifach natural reserve in Calpe, known of the giant rock rising from the sea is one of them.
